Word of advice: trust the reviews here and get the lemony ricotta pancakes!
I decided to stop here for breakfast while in Napa, because the menu looked excellent. I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed. ABC has a wide variety of breakfast options on the menu and some delicious baked goods on display. You can either put your name down on a list to be called for table service indoors or wait in line to place your order at the counter and sit outdoors. The decor, with its fun tables, quirky wall hangings, and blackboard menus, is cute and inviting.
My husband and I couldn't pick between savory and sweet, so we decided to share a Wild Mushroom Omelette and an order of the Lemony Ricotta pancakes. Both dishes were superb!
The omelet comes with some roasted potatoes and toast. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were spoilt for choice when it came to toast, and it was lovely to see unique offerings like walnut wheat, tomato basil, and challah bread. We got the challah, and it was divine! I'd go back just to have more toast. The omelet itself was very delicate and flavorful, not overly cheesy or greasy. The mushrooms, onions, and herbs complemented each other very well.
The pancakes deserve a song. These were the most delicious pancakes I've had in a very long time. The ricotta makes the pancakes soft and fluffy, while the lemon ups the flavor game. They were served with fresh fruit, cream, and light maple syrup. Should've asked where the maple syrup was from, it was delicious without being sickly sweet.
I ordered a cappuccino but didn't enjoy it at all. The coffee was weirdly bitter, and the milk proportions were off.
Since we loved the food so much, we decided to pick up a croissant and an orange yogurt cake to-go for later. Sadly, the orange cake was disappointing. I found it too dry and crumbly, and within a few hours, it was almost inedible.
Nevertheless, I shall be back here the next time I'm in Napa. And yes, I shall have more pancakes. -

Alexis is a popular breakfast spot in Napa that was open when we were in the area. Most of the other places did not open that early.
Order and self seat restaurant. When we came there was no line, but when we left, the line to order was out the door.
Large private parking lot. Service was friendly. Food comes out fast.
Huevos Rancheros - $13.95 - One of the best versions we have had. The tortillas were super crispy, even with everything on top. Eggs were cooked well. If it had some fresh pico or veggie on top, it would have been perfect.
Mexican Breakfast Sandwich - $7.25 - Typical egg sandwich with a soft chile inside. Simple but tasty.
2 Eggs - $2 each - Cooked how I ordered it.
Good not overpriced breakfast spot! -

My boyfriend and I LOVE coming to ABC! We are obsessed with the breakfast sandwiches (tip: add bacon instead of ham, you can thank me later). The food is great, and for a great price. It's more of a traditional breakfast diner and they deliver well made classic breakfasts for a reasonable price (I have yet to try lunch).
I have been multiple times and the staff has always been friendly even when the place is packed beyond belief which is most weekends.
Form what I pick up it's definitely popular among the locals such as myself. The only criticism I would give is the atmosphere, it's good but could use a little revamp on the decor, music, and seating to make it a more comfortable place. Definitely would recommend if looking for a more casual but still amazing breakfast! -

I recently visited Alexis Baking Company on a Monday morning for breakfast and had a wonderful experience.
Upon entering the restaurant, we perused their bakery case at the entrance. Their menu is listed on whiteboards above the counter and they do a great job at offering a significant amount of daily specials in addition to their already diverse daily menu. After seeing the photos on Yelp, both my guest and I couldn't resist the lemon ricotta pancakes. I added on a side of bacon for some savory balance to the sweet pancakes.
We grabbed napkins and silverware at the counter and then took our seat inside, but felt lucky to find a spot, as it was pretty packed. They brought us our drinks, followed shortly by our meals. The pancakes lived up to the hype and blew me away. The lemon was subtle and not overpowering. The ricotta made the pancakes creamy and fluffy, so that they somehow managed to feel light. The blueberries and strawberries on top of the pancakes were an unnecessary addition (they were so good as it is!), but added a bit of sweetness and moisture to the pancakes. While I traditionally am an "over-syruper", these pancakes really didn't need anything added to them, so I used my syrup sparingly. The portion sizes were large and I couldn't quite finish them, try as I might. The bacon was crispy and thick, as well, just the way I like it. It was a delicious meal.
There were so many other amazing things on the menu that I can't wait to go back to try. -

I used to eat breakfast with my father quite often. You could always plan on being greeted with a cheerful smile and a cup of hot coffee immediately after being seated
The waitresses were always so friendly and the service was always quick and efficient. Never had a bad meal there. Scrambled eggs with hash browns and bacon was my favorite. A great place to eat
